Work resumed on the construction of the new frame, which will support a new (used) white tarpaulin. As we have seen, eight trusses are required, and the image below shows the forward-most two, with six not yet constructed.

The not-quite-vertical sides of the trusses are all constructed of two connected end-to-end pressure-treated 2x4s. The top members of the trusses will vary in length according to the width of the boat at the location of the truss. The formula being used ensures an almost-uniform three feet of overhang around the perimeter of the deck.
