3/10/14: Thinking About Molding
The boards around the cabin house have been cleaned of dried epoxy and sanded.
A drip-molding will run along the top of the board and a simple molding will run along the bottom. To construct a test piece of the bottom molding, the angle between the deck and the board must be established.
This angle is easily transferred to the fence of the jointer, which is used to bevel the bottom edge of the test piece.
The top edge of the bottom molding was then given a radius using the router. Here the test piece is clamped into place, showing a pretty tight fit.
